Mummy's Boy

Mummy's little Blue eyed boy

Traded kisses for a toy

Never can he do any wrong

Cos mummy loves him oh so strong

Got the wish she always desired

Tried and tried her luck transpired

Mummy's little Blue eyed boy

Here to give her endless joy!

Mummy she loves her favourite son

The minute he was born fixation begun!

She looked into his bright blue eyes

Her baby son, she was mesmerized!

She cradled him against her breast

And promised to give him whatever’s best.

When he's hungry she makes him food

Sticks up for him when he's being rude

He never wants for anything new

Cos Mummy is there, right on cue

When he fails at things in life

Mum comes along to ease his strife

She’s always manages to see his best

And when he's happy she's at rest.

Even when he's doing bad

Mummy says he's the nicest lad

Now he’s older things are the same

She always suffers for his shame

When he's ill she's always there

Helps him out should he despair

When he comes home late at night

Mum is there with guiding light

When he goes out and commits a crime

Mum defends him time after time

When he grows and flees the nest

Mum still insists that he's the best.

Nobody can insult her precious son

She's says she's happy he's having fun

But really she hates to see him go

Did she want him to leave?…The answer is no!

And even though he's not at home

His room is safe should he need to roam

She favours her boy and that’s a fact

Mother and sons they have a pact.

Maybe Freud was actually right

For sons, their mummy is their light

They stick together through thick and thin

Go together like tonic & Gin.

He's the one she'll always prefer

But to her this fact does not occur

Mummy’s little Blue eyed boy

Put on earth for mum to enjoy!
